Acceptance of Terms

By requesting an account or using inCamera, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

Eligibility Requirements

inCamera is exclusively available to licensed attorneys who are members in good standing of a state bar association.

By requesting an account, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are a licensed attorney admitted to practice law
  • You are currently in good standing with your bar association
  • The bar number and credentials you provide are accurate
  • You will notify us if your bar status changes
Verification Process

Upon submitting your account request, we will:

  • Verify your bar number with the appropriate bar association
  • Confirm your license is active and in good standing
  • Review your eligibility to use legal AI tools

This process typically takes 1-3 business days. Once approved, you will receive an activation email to complete your account setup.

Providing false credentials or misrepresenting your bar status will result in immediate denial and may be reported to the appropriate bar association.

Account Approval

Account approval is at our sole discretion. We may deny access if:

  • Your bar status cannot be verified
  • Your license is suspended, disbarred, or inactive
  • You have pending disciplinary actions
  • Other factors indicate ineligibility

Permitted Use

inCamera is designed to assist licensed attorneys with legal research, document analysis, and other professional tasks. You agree to:

  • Use the service only for lawful purposes
  • Maintain client confidentiality as required by professional rules
  • Exercise independent professional judgment
  • Not rely solely on AI output for legal advice
Professional Responsibility

You remain solely responsible for all legal work product. AI-generated content should be reviewed, verified, and adapted as appropriate for your specific matter. inCamera is a tool to augment, not replace, your professional judgment.

Account Suspension

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

  • Your bar status changes (suspension, disbarment, etc.)
  • You violate these Terms of Service
  • You misuse the platform
Limitation of Liability

inCamera is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to professional malpractice claims.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Corporate Entity

These Terms of Service constitute a binding agreement between you and Mela Roo, Inc., a Louisiana corporation doing business as inCamera.
