How credits work
Credits are dollars. Your $50 monthly allotment is $50 of AI usage at the provider's rate — no markup. We don't get caching discounts because we take the leak risk seriously: every query is ephemeral.
Unused credits roll over month to month, up to a $100 cap. If you have a quiet month, the next month starts with more headroom. If you need more, contact us and we'll top you up at cost.
A session typically runs a few cents to a few dollars depending on the model and document size. The calculator above shows exact numbers for three common workflows.

When does billing start?
Billing begins after your account is approved and activated. You'll complete payment during the onboarding process after downloading the app.
What does "per machine" mean?
Each subscription covers one device (computer) where inCamera is installed. If you need to use inCamera on multiple computers, or want to give access to paralegals and assistants, additional machines can be added — contact us for current rates.
Will early adopter pricing increase?
Early adopters lock in $50/month in credits for as long as they maintain an active subscription. When we raise prices for new subscribers, your rate stays the same.
What happens when I run out of credits?
Your credits refill to $50 on your next billing cycle. If you need more before then, contact us — we'll top you up at cost. There's no hard cutoff mid-session, but we'll warn you when you're running low.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards. Enterprise customers can arrange invoice billing with net-30 terms.
Is there a free trial?
Due to the verification requirements and infrastructure costs, we don't offer a free trial. However, you can cancel within the first 14 days for a full refund if inCamera doesn't meet your needs.
Do paralegals need bar verification?
Additional machines for paralegals and assistants are linked to your verified attorney account. They don't require separate bar verification, but usage is associated with your subscription.
