Enterprise AI Infrastructure
Zero Data Retention. Ephemeral Processing.
inCamera connects you directly to Google Vertex AI Enterprise and OpenAI with Zero Data Retention agreements—no intermediate storage, no training on your data.
How Zero Data Retention Works
When you send a prompt through inCamera, your content travels directly from your device to the AI provider. The processing happens in transient memory—the AI generates a response, returns it to you, and the processing memory is immediately wiped.
This is fundamentally different from consumer AI tools where your conversations are stored in databases, potentially used for training, and can be retrieved months or years later.
The key distinction: With Zero Data Retention, your prompts and documents exist only as electrical signals during processing. They're never written to disk, never stored in a database, never retained after the response is generated.
Our AI Providers
inCamera supports multiple AI providers, all operating under Zero Data Retention agreements. You choose which provider to use for each conversation.
Google Vertex AI Enterprise
Google's enterprise AI platform with HIPAA-eligible infrastructure. Vertex AI Enterprise customers receive contractual data handling commitments including Zero Data Retention for inference requests.
OpenAI API
OpenAI's API with Zero Data Retention. Unlike ChatGPT consumer accounts, API access with ZDR agreements means your prompts are not stored or used for training purposes.
HIPAA-Eligible Infrastructure
For practices handling Protected Health Information (PHI)—personal injury, medical malpractice, healthcare transactions—infrastructure matters.
⟡ What "HIPAA-Eligible" Means
- Google Vertex AI Enterprise is a HIPAA-eligible service under Google Cloud's BAA
- The infrastructure meets the technical safeguards required by HIPAA
- Combined with Zero Data Retention, PHI is processed ephemerally—never stored
- inCamera's passthrough architecture means we never receive or store PHI
⟡ The Ephemeral Processing Advantage
- Traditional cloud processing: Data at rest (stored) + data in transit (moving)
- inCamera processing: Data in transit only—never at rest on any server
- No database of PHI to breach, no logs of medical records to subpoena
- Processing completes, memory wipes, data exists only on your device
Passthrough Authentication
inCamera uses a passthrough authentication model. When you send a prompt:
1 Identity Verification
inCamera verifies you're a registered, verified attorney. We confirm your identity and provide temporary credentials for the AI provider.
2 Direct Content Transmission
Your actual content—documents, questions, prompts—travels directly from your device to the AI provider. It never passes through inCamera servers.
3 Response Return
The AI provider sends the response directly back to your device. inCamera sees authentication metadata only—never your work product.
We authenticate the user; we never touch the payload. This is the architectural foundation of attorney-client privilege preservation in inCamera.
